Habakkuk 3

Posted by Seth Tummins on

THERE ARE BAD DAYS, and there are life-altering seasons.
If you have ever wondered what the next day or even the next hour would bring,
then you can relate.

The Lord sees us in our quiet spaces,
filled with hurt,
and hears our heart's sobbing.
When we cannot see Him, hear Him or sense Him in anyway,
When we feel blank and lost, filled only with questions and hurt,

There is a record of faithful witnesses that we can look to.

This shirt calls to mind one of those people.
He left few words but was changed by the realization that God is Sovereign.

Though the fig tree should not blossom
And there be no fruit on the vines,
Though the labor of the olive tree fail
And the fields produce no food,
Though the flock should be cut off from the fold
And there be no cattle in the stalls,
18 Yet I will exult in the Lord,
I will rejoice in the God of my salvation.
19 The Lord God is my strength,
And He has made my feet like hinds’ feet,
And makes me walk on my high places
So as to conquer by His song.
